How To Create Free Blogger's Blog in 10 Minutes

After creating the first tutorial, on how to create and host a free website blog with blogger.com, I received a rather disheartening mail from a start-up blogger, who still thinks, that the tutorial was a bit deficult for her to follow. Anyway, this one is going to be more straightforward and simple than the previous article, and if you follow it up a step after the other, your blogspot site should be online in less than ten (10) minutes.

Prerequisite

Before you dive into the tutorial, ensure that:
  • You've created a Google.com account. If you have a Gmail (yourusername@gmail.com) email address, then you have a goole account. If you don't have one, then click here to create one for yourself, it free. 
  • If you are following this tutorial using a smartphone or tablet, for a straightforward creation of your blogspot site, use a decent Web browser like Google Chrome, not Opera mini. 
  • On your choice browser, sign into you Google account using the email created above, and now proceed to www.blogger.com. Remember, www.blogger.com is entirely different from www.blog.com.

After you’ve signed up with Google Blogger (or if you already have a Google account, after you’ve signed in), you’re taken to the Blogger Dashboard where you can get you free blogspot websites online in less than 10 minutes by following these steps:

  • Click the Create Your Blog Now button.
  • Type in the name of your blog in the Blog Title field. You should already have plans on your niche, but don't worry your little head too much, this can be changed anytime. 
  • Enter your Blogger URL into the Blog Address (URL) field and click the Check Availability link. I will advice you exercise a little care here; try to choose a URL that is close to your blog name, perhaps you might wanna register your own domain name later. 
  • Click the continue button, if your choice blogger.com user name is available. If not, you can try another user name. However, don't allow unavailability to change your goal. If it not available, try something closely related.
  • Choose a starter template. Try a template closely related to what you want your blog to look like. Remember you can always change this at anytime. There are lot of premium free templates available on this site too, so you can download and try some. 
Congratulations, you are done setting up your free blogspot websites, and now, you can start posting articles straight away, by clicking the Start Blogging button. Not clear still?. Use the comments section below.
